Johnnie’s Coronvirus (COVID-19) Statement

To our Johnnie’s Charcoal Broiler Family,

For nearly 50 years, we have made cleanliness and safety our highest priority. As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to impact the country and our fellow Oklahomans, we are taking every precaution necessary to provide a clean and safe experience for our guests, employees and our community. We continue to follow the recommendations of the CDC and the National Restaurant Association. Here are the steps we are taking to accomplish those recommendations.

We know that handwashing is the single best way to slow the spread of illness including the novel Coronavirus. All of our restaurants are equipped with handwashing timers that alert our staff on an hourly basis to stop what they are doing and wash their hands for 20 seconds. Additionally, we are providing continuing education to all of our staff regarding current health and safety practices including precautions to minimize the risk of contracting the virus.

We use commercial grade sanitizer to clean all surfaces and equipment at regular intervals and have increased our sanitation guidelines to reflect the need for extra precaution.

Should the situation arise, sick employees are encouraged to stay home until they are symptom free for 24 hours to minimize exposure to fellow employees and guests.

As a locally owned, family restaurant group serving our community for more than 49 years, we want you to know that we care and we are doing everything we can to continue to ensure a safe and healthy dining experience for you and your family. Should you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email us at office@johnniesok.com Sincerely, Rick & David Haynes Owners, Johnnie’s Charcoal Broiler
